TGG Foundation offers internship / research opportunities to both international and domestic students interested in following topics:
1. Ethical Farming, Production and Processing, Branding & Marketing and International Sales.
2. The challenges and hurdles in livelihood creation in Rural India and the ways to overcome.
3. Restoration of Bio-Diversity for a better tomorrow and the role of the rural community in India.
4. Center for empowering socially challenged; healing and empowerment potential in rural India
1st April to 30th September (PLANTATION PERIOD) - 2 seats (Internship for minimum 60 days) April & May (Female Candidates); June & July (Male Candidates); August & September (Female Candidates)
1st October to 31st March (HARVESTING PERIOD) - 2 seats (Internship for minimum 60 days) October & November (Male Candidates); December & January (Female Candidates); February & March (Male Candidates)
We offer 2 research opportunities on (SUSTAINABLE LIVING PRACTICE in line with Bio-Diversity Certification Program) in one year for a period of 3 / 6 months. Contact us for more details with your topics and synopsis.
This opportunity is extended to students who are passionate to work with the farming community by exchanging their knowledge and skills. During the internship period, candidates will assist Navajyothi (Kerala) a self help group supported by TGG Foundation.
Assist TGG Foundation in their day to day operations, book keeping, communication, filing, media coordination, planning, fund raising and promotions.
Participate in various research & innovative activities of TGG Foundation.
One week (7 days) orientation at The Green Gardens to study Sustainable Living Practice . Located 6.5 kms away from the office complex. It is a live opportunity for the students to experience and practice sustainability at a farm maintained ethically by TGG Foundation since 2014.
Accommodation is provided by TGG Foundation on twin sharing and food is provided by Navajyothi (Kerala) on subsidised rates for all interns and research students (Rs.3850 per person for 7 days)
The students will also sponsor & plant a tree at the bio diversity zone and will maintain it during their stay. (Rs.200 per plant)
Sustainable living practice is the foundation program for the internship/research project.
How to apply:
The candidates can apply online by submitting the application form given along side by paying a Membership Fee of Rs.365 (Rupees three hundred and sixty five only) through NEFT and entering the transaction code details on the respective box. (Only interested candidates may apply).
TGG Foundation will provide shared accommodation at the Guest House near the office complex, vegetarian food and internship certificate for all candidates successfully completing the internship.
International candidates applying for internship must apply for E-4 (Employment without any remuneration) visa.
All shortlisted candidates will undergo a telephonic/skype interview before an offer letter is sent.
Candidates must obtain a Letter of Recommendation (LR) from the college/university in the name of Chief Functionary, TGG Foundation, Wayanad.
A letter of confirmation from the candidate along with the LR to be scanned and mailed to us.
An appointment letter will be issued on receipt of the above documents.
Candidates will handover the hard copies of the required documents on arrival at the office.
