1.Tea: Research about the factors that are affecting the quality of tea processing like cultural factors such as standard of plucking, pruning, irrigation, shading, manuring, pest management and Atmospheric factors such as Temperature, Humidity of air, Intensity of sunshine, Rainfall and Soil management factors such as soil moisture, soil ph, soil temp, drainage to improve the quality (Color, brightness, strength and aroma) of orthodox green & black tea production.

2. Chemical free skin care products: Goat milk soap, Nourishing oils and Aromatic oils

3. Medicinal plantation: Kerala has a rich tradition and knowledge of Ayurveda and a lot of medicinal plants are found in this region.



1. Permaculture : ( permanent agriculture) is a system of agricultural and social design principles centered around simulating or directly utilizing the patterns and features observed in natural ecosystems. Fundamental principles of permaculture is to work with nature not against, mimic natural patterns and principles, encourage diversity, use of local resources, conservation of soil and water and cause minimal disturbance to nature, We are implementing a model project at The Green Gardens farm in Wayanad.

2. Green Tea Unit: We have developed a handcrafted green tea unit using the traditional knowledge of pan-drying and steaming process to make both mild and orthodox hand made green tea. It is highly energy efficient and easy to operate. If you are a small tea farmer doing your cultivation ethically and having an organic certification we can help you set-up this unit.

1.Self Help Group : Reaching out to rural areas within the country to create opportunities for women and youths in the farming community by creating livelihood, skill development and entrepreneur projects with the support of TGG Foundation and its CSR Partners.

2.Biodiversity Certification: Based on the working model created at The Green Gardens in Wayanad, Kerala and the ethical standards established for sustainable living, similar models to be created across the country by participating with farm owners those are consciously engaged in organic farming with the intent to produce chemical free food for better health of the consumers.





TGG Foundation and Uka Tarsadia University, Surat, Gujarat has entered in a collaboration agreement for jointly conducting various research projects aimed to develop rural India. An MOU to this effect has been signed on 16/7/2019. Some of the initial core areas of focus are as follows:
  1. Genetics and immunological aspects of Human Diseases, and ways to overcome or prevalence of blood disease such as -Vitiligo, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sickle Cell Anemia, Hemophilia, Infectious Diseases; Beneficial role of Microorganisms in Human Health; Nutraceutical Probiotics to cope up with Malnutrition in Rural India.
  2. Cultivation and conservation of medically important plant/drops
  3. Development of sustainable Agriculture practices like, seed culture, Bio-Fertilizers and PGPR with high yield, Soil nutrients, medicinal plant cultivation in fertile and marginal lands, low carbon cattle & poultry feeds, biofuel, bio-waste-management & its products.
  4. Provide relatively  sustainable extension education regarding Community Farming, Contract farming, Capacity building in improving agriculture productivity, economic and profitability analysis of cash crops cultivated in the rural India, and also Soil fertility health and replacement of chemical fertilizers with bio-fertilizers.  Overcoming the challenges of Natural Hazards on ecosystem
  5. Jointly carry out research towards developing R&D projects of important plants/crops for conservation as well as promoting agricultural cultivation in India.
  6. To facilitate institutional training of students/scholars of UTU on project mode in areas of research and technology falling within mandate of TGGFCT.
