Rupak Ji left his physical presence with us on 10th April 2021. We remember him as a man of strong conviction with positive attitude. After his education at Bihar National College and P.G. Department of Labour and Social Welfare, Patna University, Shri. Dayal joined Tata Steel on 17th February, 1978, rising steadily up the ranks – from Assistant Personnel Officer at Jamshedpur Steel Works to Director Personnel in the Board of    Western Coalfields Limited, Nagpur (A Government of India Undertaking). He also worked for companies like Hindustan Paper Corporation Limited at its Assam Unit and Mazagon Dock Limited (Shipbuilders to the Nation), Mumbai. He also held additional charge of Director Finance in the Western Coalfields Limited from Sept. 07, 2013 to June 30, 2015. With more than 40 years of rich experiences in the field of Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility and Administration, he has an unique blend of expertise of working in TataSteel as well as in Central Public Sector Undertakings. His approach for bringing attitudinal changes directed towards new work culture and improved performance for executives of various companies was key to his success. Shri. Dayal had honour at the hands of Hon’ble Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Former President of Indian Republic on 29th July 2014 at Nagpur in recognition of his outstanding achievements. He was awarded “Global HR Excellence Award” conferred at “World HRD Congress” and “HR Leadership Award” during “Asia Pacific HRM Congress in 2012 and 2013 consecutively. He was chosen among the “30 Most Talented HR Leaders” of PSEs conferred at “World HRD Congress”. He joined TGG Foundation as an Advisory member on 1st July 2018 and was  appointed as a member in the Ethics Committee of TGG Foundation for the year 2020-21.
